In your registration, please fill out all the personal information for your student using the most accurate information. We will be booking plane tickets with this info! $300 is due May 1st. If you would like to pay the full amount email kelly@alpinechurch.org and she can assist with that.

Here is some additional information about the trip that you may want to know!
The students will be serving in a few different ways during the week. First, they will be doing two service days (Wednesday and Friday) where they will do labor for people within the church there. It will be simple stuff like painting, yard work, cleaning, etc. The church there has a large elderly population who cannot do the usually needed home maintenance. Second, for three days in the evening, they will be helping to lead a Vacation Bible School for the kids in the community. We have a very simple VBS program that we have done on past mission trips that the students will get to help lead! They will have two afternoons of activities which may look like going into downtown St. Louis or going to a water park! We will send a specific packing list in the next few weeks!

We are hoping to have one leader to every 4-5 students. There will be three Alpine staff on the trip, Jason our youth pastor and two interns from the Logan Campus. Students will be supervised the whole time. They will be assigned to a small group of about 8 students and 2 leaders and those two leaders (plus the others on the trip) will be supervising the students. Before we leave you will get the contact info of Jason and our intern Kayleigh, along with whoever their small group leader will be. We discourage students from using their cellphones (for social media and games) but leaders will have their phones the whole week and of course, students can use their phones to contact parents whenever!

Lastly, they will be staying at the church we are serving. We are recommending to students to bring an air mattress or sleeping pad because they may be on the ground. They are flying on Southwest so they will get two free checked bags. We think it would work to have one bag for clothes, shoes, toiletries, etc. and one bag with their sleep set up! We will include more ideas about that along with the packing list!
